Many regional planers, architects and handicraft enterprises have specialized in the log-framing construction. A counsel network of full time and volunteer workers will be set up in the near future. A network of information centres is planned to link current offers with new possibilities of counselling.

In connection with this network the information centres and helpdesks will thematically specialize and advance continuously. The integration of handicraft enterprises in this project is also aimed at. Enterprises which are able to demonstrate their proficiency and technical knowledge to professionally reconstruct old Upper Lusatian half-timbered houses should be given a quality certification. (JG)
