You find the Region of the Upper Lusatian half-timbered house exactly where Germany, Poland and Czech Republic meet – in the Euro-region Neisse.
This region combines parts of three important regions: Upper Lusatia in the North, Lower Silesia in the East and North Bohemia in the South.
Today, the Region of the Upper Lusatian half-timbered house comprises the three German administrative districts of Löbau-Zittau, Bautzen and Saxon Switzerland, the Czech regions Liberec and Ústí as well as the Polish administrative districts of Luban and Zgorzelec.
The final area has not been defined yet. Arrangements will have to be made together with the Czech and Polish party. (JG)
